School Dinner Menus
Lunch Menus are available at the school office.
The dinners at our school are provided by ISS Education. Our dinners are cooked off site at another local school and are delivered to us each day. The children can order their main course option from the menu each morning at registration.
Due to a new government initiative, from September 2014 ALL pupils in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 will be eligible to receive free school meals. However, it is extremely important that if you are in receipt of benefits you register / renew your Free School Meal entitlement with your Local Authority so that your child will automatically receive free school meals when they move into Key Stage 2 and because the school receives additional funding, which in turn helps with your child’s education.
In 2013-14 this additional funding, called Pupil Premium, was approximately £65,000 and was extremely beneficial to the school. If you would like further information about Pupil Premium spending, please refer to the pupil premium information above.
Dinner money for Key Stage 2 pupils is payable each Monday and the current cost of a school lunch is £2.10 per day. Please send dinner money / cheques in a sealed envelope labelled with your child’s name and class. If you wish to pay for dinners for the full term / half term, please enquire at the school office for the correct amount. If your child wishes to change from having sandwiches to dinners, please inform us ASAP as the kitchen requires 1 but preferably 2 weeks’ notice.
